Deathly Hallows

My letter to President:
Dear President Jergensen,
I am a happy camper right now. Things are going great and this week was perfect.
It was so fun and I feel like we used our time well! I loved it! Our zone is doing pretty good as a whole. I am happy about that too, and I anticipate the new month and new stretch to hit the goals. It will be awesome!
I am good. Emailing is distracting, but I leave it on the table when I go out. My family is so excited and always tells me about all their plans and stuff which is exciting but also kind of hard to hear as I am trying so hard to focus.
They are all so happy and all is well at home. I am so grateful for that. Recently, a lot of the things I felt I have struggled with my whole mission are not really problems and I feel so blessed.
It has been such a blessing to be in this area at this time. I am grateful for my companion. He is always so positive and is such a hard worker. We are great friends and I love him a whole bunch.

Su Su (my recent RC) with Faye who is also an RC (faye is in the front)

This week Su Yi Xuan got baptized and it was an awesome baptismal service. She is so full of faith and has a beautiful testimony. She is a great friend as well. She joins us and our ward on any adventure and the members love her a lot. It has been such a great miracle to see her get baptized. She trusts in the Lord so much.
I am humbled. I am grateful and I LOVE MY MISSION IN TAIWAN.

Love, Elder Christensen

SUPER!

This week was awesome! We are also really excited for this next week because of the baptism coming up for Su Yi Xuan. Elder Luther and I found her our first week together and now she is getting baptized! We are super happy for her! She is super cool! Super big miracle! The ward has really welcomed her in too.
Last week a guy named Jackie Lin drove us to Yilan which is my second area and we got to see some places I used to know.

NICE CAR TOO.
He owns a huge Mercedes dealership here so he took the nicest car for us hahaha

Well the cats in the cradle and the silver spoon

Little boy blue and the man on the moon. When you coming home homie don't know when but we'll get together then ya. I know we'll have a good time then.

Well this week was awesome! Vibes are good.
Elder Luther and I got pretty tired, but it was worth the effort. We never quit though it was hard at some points to stay determined. I find we can usually hit the key indicators pretty easy, but I am still trying really hard to stay focused after we hit them. I think our focus is good and it is good practice.
We were able to overcome the lack and compensate with some good finding to end the week. We saw our biggest miracle on Sunday when we had 8 investigators come to church! It was super awesome and our member support was pretty good. We were excited because all three of our dates for this month came and now if they come next week all three could get baptized this month!

Almost all of our investigators are sisters. 11 to 3 ratio. HAH. We are praying hard that they will all be able to make it next week. It was really fun to see their faith as they came and sat through multiple meetings with a bunch of loud kids and people they hadn't really met. So awesome! They have the faith!

I have the faith too. Sometimes missionaries will ask me how to do something and I am kind of always empty handed, I have no idea how to help these struggling friends. I guess I never know how to help them because I feel like anything I know now or any skills I have were given to me by the Holy Ghost and I only have them still because I take faithful action.

It is a super great blessing to be serving here. I am just a goody foreigner that strolls around the streets of Taiwan spreadin' smiles and the good word. It is the change that makes it possible to do this.
People will often say they will be ready to meet God when they run into some problems or something similar. But I find that it isn't the problems coming that trigger the belief or faith. It is the desire to change.
When we desire to change God will guide us. When we are prideful, we are not willing to budge and God will use the trials to soften us, but really the Holy Ghost can only enter into our hearts when we let go, give in and say, "I am willing to become what you want of me."
